Capturing Moments in Chuncheon
강원특별자치도 춘천시 특별자치도 동면 순환대로 1154-97

While organizing saved drafts from earlier this year, I came across a collection of photos that felt too meaningful to keep hidden. Carrying a camera at all times has allowed me to quietly collect small but memorable moments.
These images are fragments of everyday life captured through light, shadows, and fleeting scenes, from cafés in Chuncheon to walks through Seoul and beyond.
Rather than perfect compositions, this post is about moments that felt beautiful simply because they existed.
Night photography at cafes in Chuncheon
I visited a café called Santorini in Chuncheon, and the night atmosphere immediately stood out. The lighting created a calm yet cinematic mood, making it especially satisfying to photograph.
I enjoy taking photos that emphasize light itself, and this space offered exactly the kind of contrast I look for.

Small details that make cafes memorable
This is a café called Laiki that I visited in Chuncheon. A small turtle-shaped cookie caught my attention and added a playful charm to the moment.
Details like this often linger in memory longer than expected.

Snow, shadows, and quiet streets
While sitting inside the café, snow suddenly began to fall. I rushed outside with my camera to capture the moment before it disappeared.
Footprints left behind in the fresh snow formed a quiet rhythm on the ground.

As I continued walking, the shadow of what looked like a leaf appeared on the ground, creating a soft and poetic atmosphere.

Light-filled cafes and transparent moments
This brunch café had been on my list for quite some time. When I finally visited, the way natural light filled the space felt warm and inviting.
A drink served in a transparent cup reflected the light beautifully, making the photo feel even softer.

Walking through Seoul with a visiting friend
On a day when my foreign friend visited Korea, we spent hours walking through Seoul. Somewhere between Samcheong-dong and Bukchon Hanok Village, I captured a clear view of Namsan Seoul Tower against the sky.
Seeing familiar scenery through someone else’s eyes made the city feel new again.

In the Jongno area, Western-style buildings stood alongside traditional architecture. My friend’s admiration for Korean buildings filled me with quiet pride.

Familiar places and passing moments
It had been a long time since I visited Gyeongbokgung Palace. As the light streamed in, people wearing hanbok appeared in the distance, creating a timeless scene.

On a day I visited Seongsu with my family, we stopped by a café called Samok.
Every time I pass Konkuk University, the lake catches my eye and I instinctively take photos.
Missed chances and favorite places
There was a café in Jeju I wanted to visit, but after photographing the entrance, I realized there were no available seats.
On another day, I enjoyed a café that plays movies while meeting a senior.
Laike Coffee Bar in Indukwon remains my favorite café, no matter how much time passes.
After a long time, I crossed a stone bridge and spotted a large Kuromi from afar. It was unexpectedly adorable.
I hope it found a good owner.
