Hello! I'm Black Pearl, your go-to food blogger.

I recently stumbled upon W.O.N, a large cafe in Hapjeong. I thought, "Why not take a look?" and went inside, but I was surprised by how crowded it was!

There were many customers in their late teens and early twenties, and they were taking pictures everywhere. 📸

The interior had great photo spots, making it a good place for taking pictures. I was even surprised to see people lining up to take photos... haha.

W.O.N Hapjeong

Address: 20-9, Jandarogil 6-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, 1st floor & B1

You can use both the basement (B1) and the 1st floor!

It's located right between Hapjeong Station and Hongik University Station.

It's also within walking distance from Sangsu Station.

It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Hapjeong Station, Hongik University Station, or Sangsu Station. It's not super close to the stations, but I think it's popular because there aren't many cafes of this size nearby. ❤️

The entrance had an image of salt bread, so I was curious about it.

They offer various discounts, such as 10% off for students with a student ID or employees with an employee ID on weekdays, and 20% off for customers visiting between 11 AM and 3 PM.

The interior is dark, but there are many photo zones where you can take good pictures, so young people were lining up to take photos.

The basement feels like a cave?! I heard the first floor has a camping vibe, but I didn't feel that vibe.

People were really lining up to take photos! Amazing... I didn't take any photos myself, but it was interesting to see. I could really feel the youthful atmosphere.

The cafe limits weekend visits to 2 hours.

There was a wide variety of baked goods on display in a showcase, which felt very hygienic.

밝은 미래

Salt bread was the main item, but I was too full to try it this time. I want to try it next time!😋

Truffle Salt Bread - ₩4,800

Shine Muscat Fresh Cream Salt Bread - ₩5,300

Green Onion Cream Cheese Salt Bread - ₩5,600

Milk Cream Salt Bread - ₩4,800

If you buy 4 W.O.N salt breads, you can get a 24% discount and purchase them for ₩10,000!

W.O.N's salt bread is low-temperature aged for over 24 hours.

Made fresh every morning,

It has a crispy outside and a moist, buttery inside.

Salt Bread ₩3,300

Not a bad price, right?

I really wanted to eat the salt bread.

Personally, I was also curious about the red bean butter salt bread.

They also had a variety of cakes!

However, they were a bit pricey!

Hazelnut Gâteau Chocolat - ₩8,700

Mammoth Basque Cheesecake - ₩9,000

Chestnut Basque Cheesecake - ₩9,000

They had a wide variety of drinks, including hand drip, coffee, tea, signature drinks, seasonal drinks, and non-coffee drinks.

We ordered two Americanos!

I liked that I could choose between nutty and acidic coffee beans.

I foolishly forgot to take a picture of the drinks. 😅 Blogger fail!

I purposely ordered my Americano with only one shot! I chose the nutty coffee beans, and it was really good! ☕

아름다운 풍경

That concludes my review of W.O.N Cafe in Hapjeong.

I want to try the salt bread next time. I'll be back with another delicious review!
