1. Morning Calm Arboretum

Entry Fee: Adults 11,000 KRW, Youth 8,500 KRW, Children 7,500 KRW

The Morning Calm Arboretum is a representative arboretum in Gapyeong, featuring a vast garden of approximately 100,000 square meters with over 5,000 plant species.
As I strolled along the paths, I enjoyed the unique ambiance of each garden. With over 30 themed gardens, including Korean and Hakyung Gardens, I felt as if I was discovering various landscapes throughout my walk.
In May, the combination of tulips and spring flowers creates an even more vibrant atmosphere.
The arboretum also has dining spaces, making it easy to spend a long time exploring without feeling rushed.
Travel Tip: Visiting in the morning allows for a quieter experience. Comfortable shoes are recommended due to the expansive grounds.
2. The Stay Healing Park Kitchen
Located at 134, Hanseo-ro 268beon-gil, Seorak-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do.
Operating Hours: 11:30 AM - 08:30 PM (Break time 02:30 PM - 05:00 PM / Last order 07:30 PM)
Menu includes: Blueberry & Fig Salad 23,500 KRW, Arugula Flatbread 29,500 KRW, Beef Short Ribs 28,500 KRW.
The Stay Healing Park Kitchen offers a delightful mix of Korean and Western cuisine. I tried the Blueberry & Fig Salad, Arugula Flatbread, and Beef Short Ribs. The portions were generous, and the variety of options made it easy to find something to suit my taste.
The spacious layout and ample table spacing made for a comfortable dining experience, making it a great spot to visit during your Gapyeong trip.
3. Gapyeong Bridge Zipline
Located at 417-11, Gyeongbanan-ro, Gapyeong-eup, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do.
Entry Fee: 66,000 KRW per person.
Operating Hours: Summer 09:30 AM - 05:00 PM, Winter 09:30 AM - 04:30 PM.
The Bridge Zipline offers an exhilarating experience with a total length of approximately 1,680 meters and consists of six thrilling courses. After safety training and gear fitting, we were transported to the starting point, heightening the excitement.
Travel Tip: Ensure you check the safety requirements before booking. Closed-toe athletic shoes are mandatory, and long pants are recommended.
The final day starts with brunch at a cafe overlooking the Bukhan River. Golden Tree Gapyeong combines architecture and gardens, creating an eye-catching cafe. The serene atmosphere and spacious seating made it an ideal spot to enjoy a leisurely brunch.
5. Jarasum Workation Center
Located at 16, Gapyeongjeobang-gil, Gapyeong-eup, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do.
Operating Hours: Weekdays 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM (Closed on weekends and holidays).
The Jarasum Workation Center is designed for those looking to combine work with relaxation. The environment is conducive for completing tasks or using a laptop, offering a quiet and focused atmosphere.
The space includes coworking areas, private desks, meeting rooms, and relaxation areas, making it a convenient stop to unwind or catch up on work.
