A Visit to Dangjin Central Library
I visited the Dangjin Central Library located at the foot of Namsan Park in Dangjin.
It’s a perfect course for exercising at the Dangjin Education Culture Sports Center and then stopping by the library.
Location & Atmosphere
The library is situated on a hill, offering a stunning view of downtown Dangjin.
Next to it is Namsan Park, making it an ideal healing space for a pleasant walk.
After a workout, such as gym or swimming, it’s a great place to relax with a book.

Haeroreum Gallery exhibits works by local artists every month, allowing visitors to enjoy art while at the library.
3rd Floor General Resource Room
This area is mainly used by teenagers and adults.
At the entrance, there are not only computers for book searches but also FLYBOOK AI.
With simple buttons, it recommends books based on your preferences.
Additionally, there are well-organized sections for health information, dementia-related books, recommended youth books, and new arrivals.
There’s also an open table next to the bookshelves for comfortable reading.
Language and Literature Resource Room & Local Resource Room
The central area of the Language and Literature Resource Room has large print books for those with vision difficulties.
The Local Resource Room is filled with blue local resource books and showcases old photographs, creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere.
4th Floor Vibrant Library
The name "Vibrant Library" is fun and engaging.

✔ Media lounge for laptop, tablet, and desktop rentals, original text searches, printing, scanning, and copying

It’s not just a quiet library but an open cultural space for activities.

Outside, there’s a garden with green grass and benches, perfect for a break while reading.
The self-study room has a familiar reading room atmosphere, ideal for concentration.
Dangjin Central Library is a multifaceted cultural space where you can enjoy exercise, reading, and walking all at once!
With a great view and a pleasant environment, it’s a wonderful place for everyone from children to adults.
