Experience the Apple Theme Park in Geochang
In celebration of the Year of Visiting Geochang 2026, the Geochang County Blog Reporter Team participated in an experiential program at the Apple Theme Park to promote Geochang.
The Geochang Apple Theme Park consists of a promotional hall and an experiential hall dedicated to showcasing Geochang apples. This time, I would like to share details about the experiential programs available.
The experiential menu includes:
- 1. Handmade Dough Apple Pizza
- 2. Tortilla Apple Pizza
- 3. Apple Pie (2 pieces)
- 4. Apple Pan Ice Cream
- 5. Apple Pot Cupcake (available for groups of 20 or more)
A total of five experiences can be enjoyed. Among these, the Handmade Dough Apple Pizza and Apple Pie require advance reservations made at least one day prior to the visit.
For those interested in the same-day experiences, the Tortilla Apple Pizza and Apple Pan Ice Cream can also be reserved in advance for a more comfortable experience. The experiential hall can accommodate approximately 30 people at a time, with participants ranging from young children to older adults.
Gift boxes are available for taking home the products made during the experience, and beverages are also sold on-site.
During our visit, we got to try out the Handmade Dough Apple Pizza, Tortilla Pizza, Apple Pie, and Apple Ice Cream. I personally participated in making the Handmade Dough Apple Pizza.
To prevent the dough from sticking, corn flour is sprinkled on it, and it is gently stretched to form the pizza shape. Once the shape is complete, it is covered with plastic wrap to allow for fermentation. Meanwhile, vegetables like mushrooms, ham, bell peppers, and onions are chopped into small pieces.
After the dough has fermented, tomato puree is spread on top, and the chopped vegetables are evenly distributed. Finally, mozzarella cheese is sprinkled, and spoonfuls of stewed apples are placed on top according to the number of slices desired.
The pizza is then placed in a preheated oven and baked for about five minutes, resulting in a delicious Handmade Dough Apple Pizza. The entire process takes around 20 to 30 minutes, yielding a generous size suitable for two people.
The Tortilla Pizza follows a similar method, but uses tortillas instead of dough, making it a great option for those who prefer a thinner pizza.
The Apple Pie is made by beautifully wrapping dough around whole apples and baking them, creating a healthy snack that pairs wonderfully with apples.
The Pan Ice Cream involves freezing yogurt and apples on a plate, which can be rolled up like an egg roll and served in a cup, making it an excellent dessert option. This simple recipe is easy to recreate at home, making it a favorite for kids.
Overall, the four snacks from the Apple Theme Park look incredibly appetizing. We took some pictures holding our creations, capturing a day filled with joy as we transformed into daily chefs.
The Apple Theme Park operates three times a day, six days a week, with breaks on Wednesdays and during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays.
