June Hydrangea Spots in Jinju

Real-time Blooming Status of Hydrangeas at Chojun Park

Do you all love hydrangeas? Let me introduce you to Chojun Park, which I visited with my daughter on June 20th.

The hydrangea flowers, plump like balloons, were so beautiful that we spent a joyful day taking photos together.

Located in Chojun-dong, Jinju, this park is greeted by the Metasequoia North Road.

Chojun Park was once a dumping ground for household waste for 17 years. It has transformed into a nature-friendly park, becoming a beloved travel destination for citizens.

In addition to hydrangeas, we encountered a three-dimensional garden that represents Seoul as a garden city. The park features open spaces, streets, and green areas that connect various landscapes, showcasing a garden with diverse colors and textures throughout the four seasons.

As we walked towards the area filled with hydrangeas, the beautifully decorated walking path, resembling a virgin road, was lined with towering Metasequoia trees, their fresh green leaves looking vibrant.

The pink hydrangeas, puffed up like balloons, were a delightful sight. We also encountered white hydrangeas that looked like balloons; simply touching the stems allowed us to create a bouquet-like effect without breaking the flowers.

The lawn was adorned with bright red, yellow, and orange flowers. The blue sky and the freshness of the green leaves were refreshing and brought me joy.

As we ventured deeper into the park, we found a space perfect for taking stunning photos, featuring a seemingly endless flower path.

Gazing at the fully bloomed hydrangeas was truly healing!

After taking a picture of my daughter, we headed towards the pond garden, where we were captivated by the sight of a duck leisurely swimming.

Next, we visited the playground on the opposite side, where I saw mothers strolling with strollers and kindergarten kids joyfully playing. Hearing their laughter made me smile without even realizing it.

If you love hydrangeas, the Jinju hydrangea spot will be in full bloom until next weekend, so how about visiting Chojun Park for some flower viewing?
