This time, I visited the Hyeonchungsa Shrine, the symbol of Asan, a place of loyalty, and the resting place of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, revered as one of the greatest heroes in our history.
Among the exhibits, the 'Admiral Yi Sun-sin Memorial Hall' deeply highlights the general's life and achievements through cutting-edge display techniques and artifacts.
As you enter the grounds of Hyeonchungsa, a modern building harmoniously blends with the surrounding mountains.
This is the Admiral Yi Sun-sin Memorial Hall, which contains all records of the great hero.
The exterior of the memorial hall is designed to be low to the ground so as not to disrupt the surrounding scenery, creating a humble yet majestic atmosphere.
The entrance, finished with gray stone, features the inscription 'Admiral Yi Sun-sin Memorial Hall,' inviting visitors to enter the historical site with a solemn heart.
