Must-Visit Places in Goesan
Hello, neighbors!
Today, I would like to introduce a serene place to visit while traveling in Goesan - the Cherry Blossom Path at the Meeting Square.
As spring arrives, excitement fills the air about where to go. While vibrant flower viewing is delightful, sometimes you just want to quietly walk and listen to nature with family.
The Cherry Blossom Path at the Meeting Square, located by the Dalcheon River, is a beloved spot for walking enthusiasts.
The starting point of the walk features a bicycle path and pedestrian walkway, both of which are enhanced by the rain-soaked asphalt.
White cherry blossoms burst like popcorn, creating a lovely tunnel along the path. To the left, a large greenhouse is visible, while the gently flowing river accompanies you on the right.
The Cherry Blossom Path is almost flat, making it a perfect course for pushing strollers or walking with children.
Thanks to the spring rain, the colors of the petals appear even more vivid, making it hard to resist snapping photos.
As you walk, enjoy the view of the landscape across the river through the branches of cherry trees. Soon, you’ll spot a large white sign indicating the 'Meeting Square.'
One reason this place is popular among visitors is the ample parking space and well-equipped facilities.
You can park your car and admire the blooming cherry blossoms right next to you, making it a perfect spot to rest and capture beautiful photos during your Goesan trip.
Continuing along the path, the surface transitions to a comfortable wooden deck.
The branches of cherry trees arch over the deck, forming a natural roof.
The highlight here is undoubtedly the reflection of the landscape in the river.
On calm days, the green mountains and trees are vividly mirrored on the gently flowing river, creating a watercolor-like scene.
Setting up a tripod to capture the tranquil atmosphere on video is a great idea at the Cherry Blossom Path.
This spot is among the most beautiful places in Goesan, and it was my favorite scene during this trip.
As you pass the blue bicycle path sign, you’ll find wooden pergola structures that provide resting spots, adorned with fully bloomed cherry blossoms.
People walk by in raincoats and umbrellas, chatting leisurely, embodying a sense of relaxation.
While sunny days are wonderful, walking in the rain, enjoying the unique charm and rich fragrance of wet grass, is another joy of visiting Goesan.
The Cherry Blossom Path is part of the Ocheon Bicycle Path, considered one of the best healing spots for cyclists in spring.
At the end of the path, you’ll see a sign indicating '100m to the Guktojongju Ocheon Bicycle Path Goegang Bridge Certification Center,' a welcome sight for those on a national bicycle journey.
Next to it, there are wooden stairs leading closer to the riverside and a resting area.
The cherry trees surrounding the stairs create a cozy atmosphere, making it a nice spot to catch your breath after your walk.
I hope you enjoyed this introduction to the Cherry Blossom Path at the Meeting Square in Goesan.
This tranquil location is perfect for appreciating cherry blossoms, and I highly recommend visiting it.
Thank you, and I look forward to sharing more wonderful places in Goesan next time!
