Parent Education Program for Healthy Family Relationships
The Sinan County Youth Counseling Center
is offering a parent education program
to respond to the rapidly changing digital environment
and foster healthy family relationships.
This program will run from April to October,
spanning seven months,
and will include 90 parents and guardians from the area.
Key Topics of the Education Program
The parent education will focus on two main themes:
✔️ Proper parenting in the age of AI and
preventing digital issues
✔️ Healthy communication and relationship improvement
In particular, parents will learn to redefine their roles
amid the changes of the AI era,
and how to protect their children from
various digital threats such as deepfakes and cyber gambling.
Additionally, we will provide training to enhance digital literacy
to help children effectively utilize digital media.
Practical Communication Training
The curriculum will include practical exercises beyond theory.
✔️ Utilizing 'I-Message' communication
✔️ Empathy conversation practice
Through this, parents will learn healthy communication methods
with their children,
supporting positive relationships at home
and fostering their children's emotional growth.
We expect this program to deepen communication
between parents and children,
helping children grow safely and rightly
even in a digital environment.
