Spring Blossoms at Deokcheon Seowon

Hello~~

As we welcome the warm spring,

cherry blossoms have started to bloom in various places.

I visited the famous cherry blossom spot, Deokcheon Seowon in Geochang!

(As of March 29, 2026)

Upon arriving at Deokcheon Seowon,

I was greeted by a beautiful display of magnolias at the entrance.

As of March 29, 2026, the cherry blossoms had not yet bloomed,

but I expect they will be in full bloom by the weekend.

Deokcheon Seowon is known as a place to honor Prince Geumseong.

In the recently popular movie [The King and the Man],

Prince Geumseong's efforts to restore King Danjong are depicted,

making it a more meaningful place for those who have seen the film.

There were many magnolias in bloom,

which made it easy to feel that spring has arrived.

Deokcheon Seowon features a pavilion and a pond,

making it a great spot for a spring picnic or a leisurely stroll!
