Support for Eco-Friendly 1004 Bus Transition
We are pleased to announce that on January 24,
the Jeonggyeong Amtaemyeon Association
has generously donated 2 million won
to Amtaemyeon through the 2026 Annual General Meeting and New Year’s event.
This donation will be used for our
‘Eco-Friendly 1004 Bus Purchase’ project,
which is part of our designated donation program.
The project aims to replace aging 1004 buses
operating in remote areas with eco-friendly electric buses.
This initiative will enhance the mobility of residents
in island regions and contribute to reducing carbon emissions.
Chairman Kim Myung-seong expressed that
“Even though all members are physically away,
our hearts always remain warm in our hometown.”
He also noted that
“It is very meaningful to express our love for our hometown
through the hometown love donation program.”
We, at Sinan-gun, will continue to use the donations
gathered through this program responsibly and transparently
to improve the quality of life for our residents
and promote sustainable development in island areas.
