As winter vacation approaches, tailored programs for children in the Dangjin area will be available.

During the vacation period, various institutions are offering winter programs to ensure that youth spend meaningful time.

The Dangjin City Library has started various programs this month.

Elementary school students from grades 1 to 4 who can attend every day are encouraged to apply for the winter reading class!

A variety of programs are prepared, from sock crafts to traditional games and Hanji crafts, stimulating fine motor skills!

The Shimhoon Memorial Hall offers programs about the life of Shimhoon every Thursday to Sunday, featuring detective activities and Shrinkles 3D shapes.

The Songsan Social Welfare Center has different programs for younger and older students, including traditional games, creative play, and even a sledding area at Pinnacle Land!

Tuition is free, and a carefully prepared lunch is available for 2,500 won!

Currently, the program for younger students is full, but older students can still apply, so hurry!

The Songak Together Care Center is recruiting children for care programs that include cooking, art, physical education, and science.

The Dangjin City Sinpyeong Together Care Center also offers care services.

During the school term, care is available from 10 AM to 7 PM, and during vacation from 9 AM to 6 PM, providing meals, snacks, safety education, basic learning guidance, counseling, family support, and various arts programs.

The Dangjin Family Center will also run a winter vacation care class.

Art, 3D pen, food therapy, picture book therapy, and physical education classes are available for single-parent or dual-income families.

The winter reading class at the Dangjin Library, organized by the Dangjin Education Support Office, is ongoing this week.

At Sudabucks Cafe, food therapy is also available for dual-income and single-parent families until January 30.

Starting in February, barista and cooking programs will be offered, including lunch!

The Haduk Youth Cultural Center will have craft and baking activities.

Although the application period has ended, it’s worth checking for any available spots.

The Dangjin Youth Cultural Center starts accepting applications today for a total of 14 sessions on metaverse autonomous driving robot coding and game development.

The Songak Youth Cultural Center will have craft and patch experience sessions from January 22 to 27, so be sure to apply quickly for your desired program.

These local spaces and programs allow youth to safely spend time with friends outside of school during winter vacation and gain diverse experiences.

Many programs are still open for application, so be sure to apply!
