December Reflections

Another year has passed.

As December arrives, my heart is filled with disappointment and regret, unlike the strong resolutions I had in January.

I wish I had become a better person, spent better times,

and these regrets make me welcome the upcoming year with a promise to do better.

Music and the End of the Year

I listened to Jaurim's "Twenty-Five, Twenty-One" and was deeply moved by the lyrics.

I decided this would be my last song of the year.

A Day at Starbucks in December

On the last day of my vacation, I sat in Starbucks, writing on my blog and organizing various records as I welcomed December.

Thanks to e-frequency, I came to Starbucks.

At this time, Christmas was everywhere.

The sparkling atmosphere of December, filled with happiness, is simply delightful.

I prefer the days leading up to Christmas more than the day itself.

Time with My Sister

After returning from her honeymoon, my dear sister brought me a birthday gift,

and we decided to meet at a Vietnamese noodle restaurant.

Food is always delicious with a sister who shares the same taste.

Leaving the restaurant, I felt satisfied after a hearty meal of spicy pho and cream shrimp.

It reminded me of our favorite pho place, Hippo Hippo.

Even though it's similar, it's still delicious.

Birthday Moments

My sister mentioned that birthdays are meant to last a month,

and although she wanted to blow out the candles at Starbucks,

there were too many people, so I blew out the strawberry candle discreetly.

If I had known, I would have dressed up nicely instead of my loungewear.

We took a cute photo together that I want to cherish forever.

It's among my top three favorite photos.

Gifts and Gratitude

And my sister's birthday gift to me was a small, precious Cloche bag.

I'm so grateful for it that I kept it safe in my office cabinet for a few days.

I promised to take good care of it.

Before we parted, she surprised me with even more gifts, including e-frequency cards.

It felt like a step closer to my planner.

Family, Friends, and Everyday Joy

On my birthday, my mom gifted me a tumbler,

which holds about 1 liter, and drinking water has become a habit with the help of a straw.

I prefer my water slightly warmer, sipping it to stay healthy.

A week filled with gifts ordered by friends through KakaoTalk

made me feel good returning home to packages waiting for me.

I wish I could have two birthdays a year.

Pilates and Small Confidence

Doyeon gifted me a new Pilates outfit that I loved so much,

I had to take a photo.

Wearing my new outfit during the lesson boosted my confidence.

But while my confidence soared, my body struggled to keep up.

Family Meals and Café Time

On my mom's birthday, we went out to eat with family.

After craving sushi for days, we had lunch at a restaurant we often visited in the past.

We ordered a lunch sushi course, and the portions were surprisingly filling.

My dad generously covered the bill.

Our café outings have become an essential part of our dates.

We visited a nearby café called Motte, which has a cozy atmosphere.

Even though it was busy, the fall leaves added to the charm.

It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a book if it were closer to home.

We love lattes, especially during the cold winter.

Dessert is a must, of course.

Parents and Memories

My mom never misses a chance to take photos on our dining outings.

She loves to show off to her friends and relatives.

It's her pride to be out enjoying meals with her daughter.

My dad always stands back during photo time, ensuring we have our moments.

Looking Back on the Year

As the year comes to a close, I reflect on the memories made.
