Exploring Mu-Wol Table at COEX Parnas

Hello, this is Jiwon!
These days, the Starfield Library at COEX is simply stunning!
My partner and I recently visited COEX to soak in the year-end atmosphere,
and I’d like to share a restaurant we enjoyed there!
Mu-Wol Table, COEX Parnas Branch
Located on the basement level of COEX Parnas Mall
Business hours: 10:30 AM - 10:00 PM
Mu-Wol Table is situated near the dining area of COEX!
When we walked by and glanced at the menu,
we were drawn in by the neat offerings!
Finding Mu-Wol Table wasn't too difficult!
Since we visited on a weekday evening,
there weren't too many people!
Inside,
Mu-Wol Table isn't cramped compared to other restaurants!
They have seating for couples and larger groups,
making it a great spot for both couples and families!
They even have high chairs available,
which is convenient for families with children!
Menu and Side Dishes
You can place your order at the kiosk at your table!
When we visited, many menu items were sold out,
leaving us with options like soy sauce shrimp, herbal barbecue, grilled pork, and cockle bibimbap!
After some deliberation, we decided on the 2-person set menu,
Mu-Wol Table Special Set!
The set includes:
2 side dishes + beef tartare or marinated crab + roe seaweed + drinks!
When ordering, you can make your selections like this!
On the table, there were tomato gochujang and sesame oil!
I assumed they might be used for the cockle bibimbap!
The water served was barley tea, which was mild!
Mu-Wol Table Special Set
Price: 42,500 KRW
We chose two side dishes:
herbal barbecue bossam and grilled pork wrap!
The bossam side dish looked like the photo!
The meat had a nice mix of lean and fatty parts!
Although it was labeled as herbal,
there was no strong herbal flavor!
It was clean with no off-putting smell, and the meat was tender!
The pickled radish served with the bossam was a bit spicy!
The grilled pork side dish had the same side dishes as the bossam!
Only the main dish, grilled pork, was different!
The grilled pork was not spicy at all,
and it wasn't overly sweet either,
making it enjoyable for everyone!
There was more meat than expected,
and with plenty of seasoning, it was perfect for mixing with rice or wrapping!
I don’t think any Korean would dislike this!
The side dish of beef tartare was uniquely seasoned with a soy sauce base,
similar to bulgogi!
However, it was a bit salty,
and many might find it too salty!
Dipping it in sesame oil added a nice nuttiness,
which balanced the seasoning, but it was still salty on its own!
Just a heads up!
It was a pleasure to enjoy well-prepared Korean food at Mu-Wol Table!
Both the grilled pork and bossam were above average,
making it a place where many can enjoy without any dislikes!
With a menu that no Korean would dislike,
the warm home-cooked feel makes it a place I’d visit again
when craving Korean food while wandering around COEX!
