Hello everyone! Just a little more patience until the weekend!

Recently, I've been drinking a lot of tea instead of coffee, as coffee sometimes keeps me up at night. I only drink decaf these days.

When I visited Ikseon-dong, I found out there’s a coffee that tastes like coffee but is made without coffee beans! I was so curious that I headed to the flagship store right away!

They were offering free coffee tastings, so I decided to check it out!

Ikseon-dong is great because it has cafes where you can also taste different alternatives to coffee.

The Sans flagship store is located in the Hanok Village near Jongno 3-ga station. They claim to be the only alternative coffee brand made by coffee champions in Korea, which piqued my interest!

I was skeptical about how it could taste like coffee without the beans, but I entered with mixed feelings of excitement and curiosity!

It seems like a perfect option for those who are pregnant or unable to drink coffee but still crave that coffee flavor.

They had various menus made from alternative coffee ingredients displayed upfront. I was doubtful if these ingredients could actually create a coffee flavor!

They also sell caffeine-free coffee cookies, which are available as a seasonal menu only at the Ikseon-dong location.

Sans coffee is sold in 500ml bottles, which makes about 12 servings of alternative coffee! You mix the concentrate with water, just like how you would with a regular Americano.

Sans offers a variety of menu options, and you can choose functional add-ons when ordering drinks!

The dessert menu seems to be focused on tiramisu, which is quite interesting.

It’s fascinating that they can replicate the coffee taste using 12 different ingredients.

They also have gift sets, from dessert gift boxes to coffee cookie sets, which would be perfect for presents!

I think I should get some for my pregnant friends in the future!

Even though I can have decaf, there are still times when I feel uneasy about it. This alternative coffee seems like a great solution!

The gift packaging is very cute and has a traditional Korean feel!

You can also use this concentrate to create various home café experiences.

I was indecisive but ended up buying quite a lot that day!

Sans’s signature color seems to be a light green, and they had plenty of gift boxes available, all beautifully packaged!

These would make perfect gifts!

I tried a tasting where they turned the concentrate into a creamy form for a latte, and it genuinely tasted like delicious coffee!

Both my husband and I were pleasantly surprised!

For 29,000 won, it’s fantastic to enjoy a coffee-like experience without actually being coffee!

The café atmosphere is quite nice, and since it’s not coffee, it might be enjoyable for kids too!

These days, kids often drink coffee, but it’s not always the best choice for them.

Thanks to discovering this Sans brand, I had such a fascinating experience!

It would be great for gifting, and I think it would also be a good purchase for myself!

Next time, I plan to buy a few as gifts!

If you love coffee, I definitely recommend stopping by for a tasting! It will be a new experience!

Overall, my experience at Sans Coffee in Ikseon-dong was delightful. The latte I tasted was incredibly smooth with a rich coffee aroma, earning it four stars!

The interior of the store wasn't exceptionally beautiful, so I give it three stars for visuals, but it’s convenient for gifts!

Finding the location may be tricky, so I rate it two stars for location, but it can be spotted if you keep looking!

Parking is limited, so I give it one star for that, but using a public parking lot nearby is a good option!

I would revisit for sure, especially to buy gifts for my pregnant friends!
