If you're looking for a great place to take your kids during summer vacation, we recommend the newly renovated Shin-am Park Water Playground, which opened in 2026.
Thanks to newly installed water drops, water tunnels, and various play equipment, it's a perfect spot for kids to have fun and stay active.
The area around the playground features a cooling fog to beat the heat, and there are plenty of benches under the shady tree tunnels for parents to relax.
Restrooms are conveniently located nearby, making it easy for parents with kids.
While there is free parking available, it tends to fill up quickly even on weekdays, so arriving a bit earlier than opening time is recommended.

Finally, we introduce the Ihyeon Park Children's Water Playground located in Seo-gu.
This playground is divided into three zones, making it one of the larger water playgrounds in Daegu, perfect for kids to explore.
The water depth is kept under 30 cm, making it safe for young children to enjoy.
From water buckets that dump refreshing water to fountain tunnels that spray water as you pass through, there are plenty of exciting features.
To secure a good picnic spot, it's advisable to arrive early. Please note that personal tents and cooking are not allowed.
