In April, spring has arrived at Chiwoncheon Cherry Blossom Road in Haman.
As spring comes, cherry blossom petals are falling gently.
There is no designated parking area, so I parked in the open space in front of Ace Complex 2.
After several days of on-and-off rain, cherry blossom petals are already starting to fall.
This phenomenon is often called "flower rain," and it seems that there are only a few days left to enjoy it.
The cherry blossom road stretches about one kilometer from in front of Ace Complex 1 to Cheonryeong Bridge, where you need to cross a crosswalk at least once.
You can enjoy a leisurely walk or a light jog along the long cherry blossom path, and many people enjoy riding their bikes here.
There is also a stone bridge that allows you to cross between the two sides of Chiwoncheon, making it a great spot for taking cherry blossom photos.
As spring approaches and outdoor activities increase, many people have come to enjoy walks along Chiwoncheon Cherry Blossom Road.
On this day, I noticed teachers and students from the nearby middle and high schools participating in outdoor activities together.
While enjoying a walk along Chiwoncheon Cherry Blossom Road, the laughter of children filled the air.
With the repeated rain, the cherry blossoms began to fall like flower rain.
The strong winds allowed us to fully experience the beauty of the flower rain.
While it’s a bit sad that the cherry blossoms will soon be gone, I continued my walk, enjoying the delicate petals falling around me.
The walking path is illuminated, making it possible to enjoy evening strolls as well.
As I walked slowly, I found benches where I could sit and admire the cherry blossoms.
Chiwoncheon Cherry Blossom Road is designed solely for walking, with the surrounding nature preserved, enhancing the beauty of the cherry blossom tunnel.
While enjoying the walk, you can also see birds in the stream nearby.
If you head towards the walking path near Ace Complex 2, you will find a viewpoint and a resting pavilion.
The scenery from there looks beautiful too.
I can only imagine how stunning the cherry blossom pathway must be at its peak bloom.
In front of the stone bridge at Ace Complex 1, many cherry blossoms are still in full bloom.
The stone bridge was likely built to provide a shortcut to the opposite side.
Be sure to take a photo crossing the stone bridge with the cherry blossom trees in the background.
Capture the view of the cherry trees from below the stone bridge as well.
Cherry blossoms are a sight you can only see in spring, and you have to wait a whole year to see them!
Feel the essence of spring at Chiwoncheon Cherry Blossom Road.
How about enjoying a spring outing at this lovely cherry blossom road in Haman?
