I visited the Big Tree with my parents this week, as it's temporarily open until this Sunday, the 17th.

I heard last week was for group tours, but some individuals were also able to visit.

Upon arriving at the center, you need to fill out visitor information (date, time, name, address) and wait for the shuttle bus.

The bus accommodates 18 people, and it's nice and cool with the air conditioning on full blast.

The bus drops you off almost right in front of the Big Tree, which is immediately visible upon arrival.

The surrounding area is still under construction, so there are fences up.

When you first arrive, you are guided to the observatory first.

Once inside, you wait briefly and then take an elevator to the observatory.

Bottled water is available near the elevator, so you can have a drink.

The inside of the elevator is made of glass, and a video plays on the inside of the glass.

When you reach the observatory, various unique trees from different regions are harmoniously arranged.

It was nice to see trees from places so far away all in one place.

After looking around the observatory, you are guided to the video room.

They will give you a QR code for a survey at the entrance, which you can fill out.

After the video room, move back to where the bus dropped you off to catch the bus back down.

The transportation seems inadequate. If there isn't a bus up after the full opening, there should be rest stops and viewpoints along the way.

It would be great if they could have nighttime openings to become a night view attraction, and attract people's attention with lighting installations on the exterior of the Big Tree.

Currently, it's a temporary opening, and most people who have gone say it's worth visiting at least once.

The opening hours are until this week, from 10-12 AM and 3-5 PM, and you can go anytime during these hours.

The last bus is at 4:30 PM, but the sign says 4:00 PM, so I think registration closes at 4:00 PM.

Address: 70, Chunghon-ro 72beon-gil, Seongsan-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do

Park in the parking lot and head towards the center.
