One-Day Tufting Class: Make Your Own Magnet!
Hello!
Today, I would like to share my experience from the Paju Alimi group program held on April 18th,
entitled 'One-Day Tufting Class - Make Your Own Magnet.'
This event took place at 'Andet' in Heyri Village.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming workspace,
and the design I had chosen in advance was already prepared,
allowing us to dive right into the experience!
From the various designs available, I chose my favorite character, Pom Pom Purin!
I was excited to see how the cute design would turn out once completed.
Before starting the main work, we had the fun task of selecting yarn colors,
matching them one by one.
Next, we used a tufting gun to insert yarn into the fabric.
I quickly realized that controlling the strength and speed was crucial,
making it a bit challenging at first.
Especially aligning everything horizontally while working evenly was not easy.
However, with some practice on a square shape,
I gradually got the hang of it.
After finishing the tufting, we detached our pieces from the fabric and worked on the finishing touches.
Using scissors, we trimmed any stray fibers,
and I could feel how much the quality of the work improved!
It felt as if my piece had been styled at a salon,
and I was even more satisfied with the final result.
Finally, we glued on the facial features and magnets to complete our magnets.
I felt a great sense of accomplishment having made it myself!
After the experience, we took a group photo with our creations!
It was also a wonderful opportunity to catch up with friends and network.
Participating in Paju Alimi allows you to engage in various programs and lectures.
