This summer, with the heat wave continuing, I wanted to enjoy some unique and thrilling water activities, so I visited the Dewil Training Center in Ham-an, Gyeongnam!
The center is known for its fun concept of 'Lazy Hell,' which is popular on social media, providing a great time for both children and adults. It offers options for day trips as well as overnight stays, making it a perfect vacation spot.

The Dewil Training Center is a popular water park in Gyeongnam, featuring exciting water slides and the unique rotating water attraction, 'Lazy Hell.'
As I saw the banner at the entrance stating, "Only those who endure will survive!", my excitement began to build.
The facility includes accommodations, pavilions, and camp picnic areas, making it a popular summer getaway.
There was a well-organized map at the entrance, making it easy to find the main facilities. Besides 'Lazy Hell,' there are children's pools, karaoke rooms, restaurants, pine tree hills, futsal fields, and swimming pools available.
I visited on a weekend morning and noticed many people arriving early, even before opening time. If you plan to visit on a weekend, I recommend arriving in the morning.
Parking spaces are available throughout the center, and parking attendants are present to assist quickly.
Visitors can confirm reservations and pay the entrance fee at the ticket booth at the entrance.

'Lazy Hell' operates in scheduled sessions, and the usage fee is 3,000 KRW per session, separate from the entrance fee. You will receive different wristbands for each session, and it can fill up quickly on weekends, so I recommend purchasing your tickets first.
There are pavilions for resting around the pool, as well as a camp picnic zone equipped for cooking.
While you can enjoy just the water activities at the Dewil Training Center, families visiting with children might prefer to reserve a pavilion or camp picnic area for a full day of fun. Reservations can be made through the Campit app.
The 'Lazy Hell' water park is large enough that children were enjoying water play even when the rides were not in operation. Kids were climbing and descending the installed tubes and ropes, having a blast.
The area is spacious enough to accommodate many visitors simultaneously.
'Lazy Hell' involves holding onto a rope or climbing on a tube and trying to last as long as possible. As the speed increases, it becomes surprisingly challenging to maintain balance, making it enjoyable for adults as well. It's a good workout too!
It could be fun to challenge family and friends to see who can last the longest.
The water park also features two water slides that are particularly popular with children. Watching them glide down the slides brings relief from the heat.
The depth of the slides is shallow enough for young children to enjoy safely.
Near the entrance of the water park, there is a 'Cafe Nataping' snack bar, offering a variety of snacks like pizza and hot dogs, as well as drinks like Americano, lemonade, and juice. The prices seem quite reasonable for a water park.
There are also lodges available for overnight stays, allowing visitors to enjoy water activities all day long.
If you're planning a family summer vacation, staying at a lodge where you can relax and enjoy a barbecue could be a great option.
